Santa dash

....streets of Lostock Hall....for a very good reason!  It raised  £115 for Life NoW!

A motley band of santas, reindeers and other hard-to-distinguish-Christmas characters ran, walked, skipped or simply ambled their way around an organised route through Lostock Hall on Sunday afternoon (18th December), straight after our Christmas Carol Service.....and they all paid a fiver or more for the privilege!  And since it was a big parky out there, some even paid NOT to do the santa dash!

Great fun was had by all with everyone getting into the spirit of FUN-draising - Christmas style. £115 raised in half an hour is a great achievement and a true Christmas blessing to the charity Life NoW.

Huge thanks to everyone who participated or marshalled or simply cheered folk on at the start and finish. You were all great!  George Thomas noted, "3 wise people were spotted en route - their own route! - just to add to the Christmas feel!"

George & Joan Thomas are founders of the charity Life NoW, which seeks to meet the needs of young adults with life-limiting, life-threatening and end-of-life conditions in Lancashire, Cumbria, Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and Isle of Man. Every penny helps Life NoW to get that bit closer to fulfillling this vital need.

Special thanks to Jimmy Downie for organising the Santa Dash and to everyone for their support and generosity!
