Mercy People Thank you

Mercy People Singathon!  The band played on....

On 30th June, Mercy People, the community choir for justice, completed a six hour marathon of singing - a singathon - to raise money for the three charities they support.

The choir sang all their own repertoire of songs such as Fleetwood Mac's "Don't stop" , Michael Jackson's, "Man in the Mirror" and "Higher" along with many other songs ranging from Beatles classics to "Food glorious food" and an inspiring set of Christian worship songs.

Initial estimates indicate that the money raised will be at least £500 once all sponsors have paid up.

Mercy People thank all who sponsored them and are delighted that their vocal and musical talents can be used, not just for fun, but to support children in the Home of Hope, India, a children's village in Uganda, and victims of trafficking freed by International Justice Mission.
